Happily Ever After

The Story of Us

Following graduation from Stanford, I returned to my hometown Omaha, Nebraska to coach softball and complete my master’s degree at Creighton University. Spencer accepted an assistant baseball coaching position at Creighton a couple years later and our offices were next door.

We became fast friends having so much in common. Our friendship evolved into much more and my best friend proposed to me in March, 2007.

We were married in an outdoor ceremony in Omaha, Nebraska on August 16, 2008.

I walked down this without tripping!

First look.
I guess I was funny looking?
My flower girls: Coach’s nieces.
My bridesmaids-I think I whacked Jenny with my flowers!
My ever-youthful parents.
My new family.
Taking the plunge.
Not sure what we are getting into!
My mom sang “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” by Roberta Flack.
It was so beautiful, I cried.
He sealed the deal with a dip.
We jumped for joy!
“Take Me Out to the Ball Game” played following the ceremony.
Mr. & Mrs.
We danced.
Some more.
We got low.
We laughed.
We ate cake.
We lived happily ever after.
Thanks for reading our story.
