I’m happy to share my 30 day transformation using Isagenix with you today.
I was highly skeptical, so I tried the products before publicly announcing I was changing my nutrition. I’d share glimpses here and there, but I wanted to see (feel) for myself.
What is Isagenix?
Isagenix is NOT a “diet” but a sustainable lifestyle that nourishes our body and eliminates toxins with whole-food nutrition for natural energy, reduced inflammation, improved body composition, and decreased stress levels.
Why I Started
A friend planted a seed months ago about this nutrition, but I wasn’t really ready to listen. Fast forward to getting a chance to visit with her in person, and I was blown away by her story and transformation.
It really got me thinking about what I was putting into my body, and it wasn’t that great. As “clean” as I may have been eating, I was putting in a lot of artificial junk from sweeteners to synthetic fillers to processed food that left me wondering, “What should I be putting into my body?” Not to mention my reliance on caffeinated, well, everything.
I was a hard sell though. I’m a personal trainer, and we are taught to just eat real food, right?
Well, what I learned that was that our real food isn’t delivering the necessary vitamins and minerals it was decades ago. No matter how fastidious we are about buying organic, non-GMO sources, it still is lacking the complete nutrition we need.
What if I could feel better?
What if my family could eat better?
Ultimately, this is what made me pull the trigger. I wanted to flood our bodies with the best nutrition possible. With Isagenix, there are no compromises when it comes to using the highest-quality ingredients for products, backed by science. Both the mom and trainer in me were sold.
Here’s What I Did
Many people begin their journey with Isagenix because they want to lose weight, increase energy, and reduce/eliminate cravings. Although weight loss wasn’t my goal (a nice side effect), I did want to increase my energy, eliminate cravings (specifically sugar), and fuel properly.
Regardless of where you are starting your journey, you are strongly encouraged to begin with one of the 30 day programs. It’s the best way to set yourself up for longterm success.
The systems are designed to bring your body back to homeostasis, so it can work like a machine. This means healing your gut and reducing inflammation, so your body can absorb the amazing nutrition being delivered, eliminating toxins that like to reside in visceral fat (that especially dangerous fat), improving digestion, and releasing fat while retaining lean muscle. This cleansing process is done at the cellular level, it is NOT a colon cleanse. You are eliminating harmful toxins while flooding your body with dense nutrition from real foods in a convenient way.
I followed the protocol as it was designed in order to begin the natural detoxification process. You know what happened? I got a huge headache. I was bummed to say the least; however, I learned that was a normal side effect of my body eliminating toxins. I chugged a bunch of water, rested, and it was gone a few hours later.
This is when the switch really turned on for me! For some, it’s sooner. Others, need a bit more time. I felt improvement on the inside and outside. My energy was noticeably higher, mental clarity was improved, my digestion was regular, and I had less overall “puffiness” (or bloat). This was pretty eye-opening. I thought didn’t have much to change physically, but I had no idea how many toxins (remember, they love fat cells) were hanging around and negatively affecting me.
I feel so good! Not only am I leaner, but I’m more focused, energized, and balanced.
Let’s back up. I was perfectly content with my “before” picture. I just wanted my insides to match my outsides. Now, that my body is getting dense nutrition, the cravings disappeared along with the puffiness that comes with bloat.
