Happy 2017! I hope you had a blessed holiday season.
I’ll be sure to share highlights from our family to yours. For now, let’s chat about 2017.
In all areas of life, I want to simplify and FOCUS on what adds VALUE to our family. This includes LESS materials, activities, and obligations to name a few.
You already know I operate best when I’m organized. I’m taking that a step further and minimizing household items, including toys. Why buy complicated storage systems? If you’re not using it, get rid of it.
Cole recently helped Spencer do a massive closet purge.
For toys, if it doesn’t inspire imagination, then it goes. If it lights up, makes obnoxious sounds and requires 47 batteries, I’m tossing it! Books are exempt.
What adds value to our life? What shows our kids they are loved and important.
It’s that simple. And, it doesn’t need to be an expensive outing.
I love taking walks as a family. We are together and outside. I also feel like my kiddos are infinitely better when they get fresh air. Yours?
And, because my time as a mom is limited, I want my workouts to count!
My workouts are intense but only 20-30 mins. My strength is programming, so I create challenging workouts that target lots of muscles, and keep me engaged (not bored). Staying fit is important to me and exercise is just part of my daily routine.
If you like this style of training, then hang with me. Training motivated individuals and helping them reach their potential is one of my greatest pleasures!
What’s your “word” for 2017?
