How many of you moms can relate to putting yourself last in order to care for others?
You can bet my kids (furry too) are all up to date on doctor’s visits. And, they are always first on my shopping list.
Me? Not so much.
Many of you (including my husband and kids) are used to seeing me rock this gear.
Yup. A ponytail and workout gear.
However, I was forced to find outfits for some upcoming events for Spencer’s work, so shopping it was. I don’t love shopping, but it was overdue. Also, overdue? My hair. It’s been over two years since I had a haircut.
But, that changed this weekend!
Bangs are back. Split ends are out.
It felt good to be cared for. And, it was a stress reliever knowing I didn’t have to try to style my worn out hair myself!
Ponytails and Heels
Normally, Jess and I rock ponytails and workout gear while we chase our one year old boys, but we upgraded for this night.
Her outfit, right?! Jess is a stylist for Mac & Mia, so your kiddos can look the part too if you want. She did several looks for Jada. Box of clothes was delivered to our doorstep. We keep what we like and return what we don’t.
Jada chose this as her favorite. This dress is so unbelievably soft and comfy, and so are the tights. Plus, they will grow with Jada who seems to be getting taller each day!
Lately, I’ve been walking with the double BOB stroller to pick-up Jada from school with her lunch packed. That way Cooper and I get more exercise, and it’s one less meal I need to clean up! #momwin
Then, we stop at a park to explore.
Cole is obsessed with “walking” Cooper too. It’s so cute.
Also, I got the weather shield for the stroller to keep the kiddos semi-protected from the elements. So worth it!
Finally, we were so lucky to have Spencer’s mom visit. She lives in Washington, so we don’t get to see her enough.
She helped us tremendously by watching the kids and doing bedtimes, so we could attend events this weekend. Bedtimes are hard, right?! Thank you Oma!
Do you put off “your stuff” for others?
