Jada, the Minion, was really into Halloween this year.
It started with Halloween themed books and TV shows, which led to her interest in all the neighborhood Halloween decorations. On our daily walk(s) with Cooper, we’d go past the jack-o-laterns, witches, scare crows, and skeletons–or “scaries” as Jada termed them!
Throughout the weeks leading up to Halloween, we prepped her by asking her what she says after ringing the doorbell…
She was more excited to grab the candy, so the “trick-or-treat” was an afterthought. But, from the looks of it, she had fun! And, she loved handing out candy to trick-or-treaters as well.
We had some beautiful weather to open November, close to 70 degrees in the Chicagoland area. What?!!
Cooper and I moved our workout from the garage to the driveway. I’m sure I got more than a few sideways glances from neighbors.
But, I enjoyed that Vitamin D, and so did Jada on our morning walk.
While I did enjoy a fair amount of candy this weekend, I found a package of these on sale.
Amazing! I’m going to buy more! Have you tried them?
I’d love to hear about your weekend! Did you follow the NYC marathon? Dress up? Hand out candy?
