Sharing a 36 week pregnancy update today which means we have less than a month!

About 6 lbs and 20-22″ long, the size of a cantaloupe based on the WTE app.
Around 18 lbs, but I’ve fluctuated quite a bit. Some weeks I’m more, others I’m less. Baby boy is still gaining half a pound per week, and I feel all of the 36 weeks of pregnancy now.
It’s not polite to point.
Yes! While the space is dwindling in my belly, his movements are much more pronounced and still catch me off guard. He’s super active like his sister, and he’s already in position (head down) too.
So, this is probably the biggest change in the last 2 weeks. I really feel like I am slowing down, and it’s a hard pill to swallow.
I still feel strong and fit, but everything is getting harder. Accordingly, I’m focusing on maintaining strength as I know I’ll be pretty inactive those weeks following baby boy’s arrival.
However, my coach keeps me on my toes all day! Expecting moms of toddlers know there isn’t time to kick those feet up and relax!
Lots of small meals and snacks. There’s not much space in there! I’m loving easy meal options like steamable bags of protein blends on greens with dressing.
I’m a huge mint/peppermint fan, but if that’s not your thing, you probably won’t dig this. I just blended two scoops of the protein powder, with 8-10 ice cubes, and almondmilk. Tasted like a sweet, mint shake!
My bladder must be a pillow of some sort for baby boy, because I pee all the time! And, at least one day a week, I give into an afternoon when Jada is down.
Like I mentioned, there’s no slowing Jada down! She is well aware that baby brother is in mom’s belly.
This will be an adjustment, but ultimately, I know she will be a helper. We are keeping her busy and taking time for special “dates”.
We have a name! It took us a while, but we have something that both of us really love. And, I can’t tell how much I’m looking forward to seeing Jada meet her baby bro. Should make for an eventful holiday season!
Thank you for all the support throughout this pregnancy!
