If you have been a reader for any sort of time on this site, you know one how much I love my dog, Cooper.
Dog owners can likely agree that your dog is not just a dog. He/she is a family member, and the most loyal, loving companion, you will ever have.
Cooper is celebrating his 8th birthday today! Love you buddy! Now, it’s more important than ever to feed him THE best ingredients. That’s why it was a no brainer to partner with Rachael Ray Nutrish Zero Grain dog food.
Cooper couldn’t wait to explore his very own mail! The rubber steak is a squeaky toy & he’s pretty obsessed with it.
We already feed him Rachel Ray’s line of dog food. It’s the only premium dog food brand that’s available at Target, WalMart, and Amazon, so very accessible regardless of your location (and readers know ours changes quite a bit!).
A Little Nutrition History on Cooper
Cooper began battling stomach issues around 3 years of age. He has always had a sensitive stomach, even as a puppy.
But, he literally could not keep anything down (or in). To say I was worried, was an understatement. What was going on with my baby?! After multiple vet visits and tests, it was finally concluded that he could not handle digesting corn. Unfortunately, that ingredient is found in a number of dog foods of lower quality. I was embarrassed that the food I was feeding him was the cause of his discomfort.
As a result, I am much more conscientious about food selection when it comes to Cooper. The ingredients don’t lie. Here’s why we love Rachel Ray’s Nutrish Zero Grain dog food:
- made with simple, natural ingredients like real U.S. farm-raised beef, which is always the number one ingredient
- made with wholesome vegetables
- no grains, glutens or fillers
- no poultry by-product meal
- no artificial preservatives, colors, or flavors
Another reason why we love Rachel Ray’s Nutrish is not found on the ingredient list. All of Rachel’s personal proceeds go to Rachael’s Rescues, a charity created to help shelter pets in need. Over $9 million has gone towards food, medical supplies and treatments for these animals. I will give to that cause without a second thought, and in exchange, I’m getting the healthiest possible meal for my dog.
Cooper was already eating Rachel Ray’s dog food, but I did slowly mix in the Zero Grain Beef with Bison to let his system get used to the new flavor. He happily attacks his meals which makes me feel like I’m truly providing him with food he loves!
Selfishly, I want him here for many, many years to come. More importantly, I want his quality of life to be the very best.
Accordingly, choosing premium food to fuel his healthy lifestyle will always be a priority in our household. You can keep up with Rachael Ray Nutrish on social media here:
