So, I’m 32 weeks pregnant with the due date creeping closer. 8 more weeks to go!?!?
About 4 lbs and 19″ long, the size of a head of lettuce, based on the WTE app.
About 18 lbs. Baby boy is gaining at least 6 oz. per week, and I continue to measure on time. Jada joined me again for my check-up and announced to my doctor, “We are going to listen to baby brother’s heart beat!” She blows me away with how clearly she is communicating lately–complete sentences.
Outtie. And, it protrudes even more when I cough or use my abs. Oh boy. Literally.
Yes! There are now defined periods of wakefulness and rest. The alien belly thing is happening all the time now too.
I still love my workouts! I even went wogging with Cooper last week and felt pretty decent (I stopped running with Jada at 27 weeks, so this was a nice surprise).
Meals are getting smaller, but more frequent. Too much food feels pretty darn uncomfortable at this point.
Healthy, nutritious foods fuel me feel the best. But, I am not restrictive in the least.
Recently, I’ve fallen in love with the protein infused nut butters I received for a campaign with Vitamin Shoppe and will be stocking up on more of those.
At this point, lots of bathroom breaks at night, wake me up, but it really isn’t too awful. I’m just telling myself it’s prepping me for those nightly nursing sessions that will undoubtedly occur.
Jada & Cooper:
Jada is really excited to teach baby brother how to play with his toys–she recently spotted a storage bin with her old baby toys, etc. She’s already practicing with Cooper!
With gorgeous fall weather, we are outside as often as possible (another trip to Wagner Farm). I continue to take advantage of local, activities for my little extrovert.
Thankfully, there is a ton to do in our area, so even when winter arrives, we’ll have indoor options. And, sometimes there’s Kindle Fire time with Cooper snuggles.
I’m also so excited about Jada attending pre-school in January! We weren’t sure if they’d let her in mid-year, or with her age (she misses cut-off by 10 days). However, it’s a go for two mornings a week! She’s pretty social, so it gives me peace of mind to know that she gets to do something with other kiddos.
Just like two weeks ago, we still haven’t decided on a name. Man, I don’t remember it being this hard with Jada. We have a good list, but nothing is set. Got suggestions? Fire away!
