I know this is a bit redundant, but this pregnancy is truly flying by. I’m already 30 weeks pregnant.
About +3 lbs and +18″ long, based on the WTE app.
About 16-18 lbs. Baby boy is gaining at least 6 oz. per week, and I’m measuring on time. Jada was a rock star at my last check up and was so excited to listen to baby brother’s heart beat.
It was the gross glucose test one too. Ugh!
Outtie all the way. I know you’re jealous of my accessory.
Yes! Pretty powerful as there still is enough space for baby boy to move those limbs. He is most active when I’m laying down which I’m guessing is pretty common???
I still love my workouts. They certainly aren’t as intense, but I feel best once I have completed one. That’s why I workout in the morning.
However, I did have a concerned neighbor share her (uninvited) thoughts the other day. She used the word cringe when she saw me lifting weights. Seriously? I replied as politely as I could, and I didn’t take the time to enlighten her as I was in the middle of my workout!
Weight lifting will not harm your baby! Always consult your doctor and be smart, but staying fit and active is a good thing! End rant.
I feel best with healthy, nutritious meals, but I certainly don’t turn down ice cream with my girl!
As the weather is getting colder, warm dishes are hitting the spot, so we have been firing up the crock pot. However, I’d feel this way pregnant or not.
It’s getting better, but ugh, those bathroom breaks. When I lay back down, baby boy is having a dance party. So, my sleep is really broken which is good training for December, I guess.
Jada & Cooper:
Jada loves to help me walk Cooper. We took him to the natural dog food store for his birthday, and she was so excited to help him pick a treat!
I’m hoping this helpful attitude extends to baby brother (I think it will). However, I also want to have activities/classes ready for her once he arrives. Winter in the Chicagoland area will be cold, so I’m looking for options at Little Gym and the local Parks & Recreation Center to make sure she stays active.
Spencer has been running around 100 mph with his new job. The workload is tremendous, but all positive.
That hasn’t dampened his excitement to welcome his son. I’ll be glad when recruiting, fall practice, etc. slows down in November, so we can have him around more.
Deciding on a name. We have a list, but nothing is solid!
And, I’m not sure what to do about a stroller. I have a used BOB Revolution(Craigslist find) that I love, but I mostly use it for walking and occasional runs.
It’s super easy to handle with one hand while holding Cooper’s leash in the other. Do you have any dual stroller suggestions?
I’m most anxious about the delivery and what to do with Jada and Cooper. We don’t have family nearby which is also concerning once baby boy arrives. And, I’m not sure when to have our families visit? He’s due December 16th, but that doesn’t mean he’ll be born then!
I relied immensely on my parents’ help when we had Jada.
They visited last weekend, and I miss them so much.
And, if you’re still with me, thank you!
