Hello, third trimester! Honestly, this pregnancy is flying by. I can’t believe I’m already 28 weeks pregnant.
That’s what moving and trying to keep up with a toddler will do to you. Days fly by.
About 2.5 lbs and 16″ long.
Boy! Gender reveal HERE.
About 15 lbs. Baby boy is gaining at least 6 oz. per week, and I’m measuring on time.
I think it’s fair to say it’s an outtie. What do you think?!
Cooper’s not impressed.
I love seeing the surprise on Spencer’s face when he feels the kicks. Baby boy feels strong and my belly is truly moving. I just can’t imagine how he will feel the next 12 weeks if he’s this strong already. Yikes!
I am working on maintaining my strength and some sort of fitness. It’s a hard pill to swallow when you have to slow your pace considerably and take lots of breaks.
Sometimes, it works out for the best. I can take a break, and help Jada with her activities. She still hasn’t quite mastered the independent play, but she’s only 2, right?
I tend to get interrupted a lot, so I’m thinking a shift towards the 5 a.m. workout club might be the answer. Yes?
One of the positives of moving to a bigger city is access to healthy options, like Mariano’s and Whole Foods.
I will never tire of the salad bars.
And, while the weather is nice, we are outside dining as often as possible. But, cool mornings have me craving something more substantial, like oatmeal.
It’s not as sound as it was with Jada. I’m not sure if that’s because I can’t turn my brain off with our house to do list, or if baby boy keeps me up. His kicks are powerful! At times, I’m not getting enough hours at night, and I have to swallow my pride and take a nap during Jada’s nap time.
Or, extra snuggle time with these two.
Jada & Cooper:
Jada is so cute about asking about baby brother. She still maintains that his name is “Teddy.”
I think she’ll be a fantastic big sister.
Presently, she is still in the crib, which we assembled in the nursery. We will it use for baby bro, so I have many of her things in one room until we purchase a mattress for her and make the transition.
Cooper is a kid favorite anytime we take a walk, so I have zero worries about him. And, don’t you worry, he will NOT get snubbed. He’s my baby.
Obviously, his arrival, but, getting the house in order will help my Type A personality needs to lighten up. Like I mentioned, we need to get Jada a bed, so her room feels somewhat completed. Then, I’d like to add some baseball accents to baby boy’s room.
