Friday favorites. Because, what else do you title a post with a bunch topics that might not be related?!
Spencer has some long days now that fall practice is beginning. So, his thing is bath time and cuddles post bath.
I stay out of the way, so he and Jada can have their time. So sweet. He loves her so much.
Anchors & Arrows
Haley at Anchors & Arrows offered to make Jada and Cooper matching accessories. Of course I was more than thrilled she thought of BOTH of my kiddos!
Adorable headbands in custom colors:
Super soft headbands for everyday wear:

I asked Haley to make the headbands in blue & white, so she could rock them during Creighton athletics events. And, of course, her brother, Cooper, had to match!
That’s his “I’m dead sexy” look!
My handsome boy! The bow tie has a loop behind the center knot where you string through the collar. User friendly indeed!
We need to make Saturday night a more regular occurrence!
What?! I’m not in workout clothes?! I know. At least, the dress feels like it!
110% Play Harder
If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know I suffered from plantar fasciitis. That was tough! I had to reduce my mileage and turned to more CrossFit and HIIT workouts for fitness. As you know, I fell in love with that style of exercising. It was challenging and efficient. Anyways…
110% Play Harder sent me the Overdrive Compression Sock & Ice Sleeve that treats plantar fasciitis among other things.
First of all, the compression socks fit snug without cutting off circulation, in fact, they help to improve it! A perfect balance of compression and support. I wear compression regularly after long distance runs (though it has been a while since I had one of those!).
The compression sleeve fits comfortably over the sock.
The reusable ice inserts are brilliant.
You run warm water over the flexible inserts to expand, then stick them in the freezer. Next, you slide the inserts between the sock and sleeve. You can easily manipulate or even cut the inserts in order to fit where you need it most like the plantar fascia, Achilles, shin, or ankle. Wish I had these sooner!
I will be proactive with my approach to running more mileage post-pregnancy by using the Overdrive compression sock & sleeve. No need to wait for an injury to take care of myself! And, then there’s foam rolling…
I have mentioned my road back to fitness will be a long one. And, it really will be. I had just enough time to do The Dirty 30 home workout the other day.
10 exercises of 30 reps each. No equipment needed. I was gassed, especially with the 30 burpees at the end! Day by day, I guess.
I wore this Reebok tank top which I love: the fit, fabric and the message hit the mark.
You may have seen it on instagram previously?
I received some nice compliments from followers! But, let me clarify that I took this picture at a flattering angle. My tummy is still soft; however, the polyamid/polyester blend does hold me in without being too constrictive. Score!
My New Gadget
I entered a GNC Pinterest Recipe contest and was selected as one of the winners for my Skinny Key Lime Pie recipe! I’m so glad I pinned the #GNCTreatYourself picture on Pinterest, because one of my prizes was a coveted Vitamix!
I have been eyeing one of these EVERY time I go to CostCo! Pumped!! Now, what to make?! I’m anxious to experiment with the new GNC Whey Protein Pina Colada flavor once I add dairy back in.
Jada thinks I’m pretty funny when I make monkey noises!
Her eyes are getting lighter aren’t they? Still not sure of the color.
Well, that was quite a list! What are some of your favorites?!
