This post is not going to be filled with pictures of me in a bikini showing a post baby body or saggy belly.
I still have a long ways to go before I feel comfortable in my own skin, but I’m getting there.
I feel like I’m almost back 5 weeks after Jada’s birth.
When I wrote about my postpartum fitness plan, I mentioned wanting to feel healed before I started taking my workouts up a notch.
And, I am feeling healed! I’ll get confirmation this week at my 6 week follow-up appointment. But, I’m back to taking jogs with Cooper!
That looks like a smile to me! We were both pretty happy to be moving faster again!
My biggest issue with running or higher impact moves? Supporting my boobs! Dang, these things are heavy. Ugh! My moving comfort Juno bras are pretty legit though! I can barely squeeze into them, but they work.
I got these with my Reebok ONE 25% discount. If you are in the fitness industry (personal trainer, group fitness, coach), you can set up a free profile and save on every Reebok purchase and connect with others.
Most of the time when I’m outside, it’s with Jada and Cooper, so we can only go as fast as the BOB lets us!
She’s not old enough for me to start running; gotta support that neck of hers.
And, we have to support her curiosity with activity mat playtime!
These pics are from her “unprofessional” photo shoot. I promise, she has more than one onesie!
My favorite one:
Fist pump! And, be jealous of her little spiked hairdo. I know I am!
Again, I’m still not completely confident about how I look. I’d be lying if I was. Especially, when I see that stomach pooch in pics. Good posture never became so important! But, I am getting there and almost back.
And, how about a few more Daddy’s girl moments? You might’ve seen these on instagram already.
Moms: how did you support the ta-tas while breastfeeding?
Are you comfortable in your own skin?
