I was contacted by the Sunglasses Shop and offered the chance to select a pair of Oakley sunglasses and offer one my readers the chance to do the same!
I typically lean towards athletic styles/gear (because I’m in it all the time), but I already have a pair of sunglasses for running. So, I opted for some more stylish ones to wear for all occasions! I figured my $8 pair from Walmart was due to be lost or broken soon.
I took my time checking out the various styles and colors. With a high quality product, I wanted to be certain about my decision.
Each pair shows a more detailed description featuring style notes that take into account face shape, hairstyle, occasion, and general style.
I selected the Oakley Women’s Sweet Spot shades in polished black. Love the detailing on the inside and the over-sized frames. How’d I do?
The sunglasses are lightweight and comfortable! Oakley uses a Three-Point-Fit system where the glasses only touch your nose bridge and temples. Plus, they provide 100% UV protection which is obviously critical for our sensitive eyes and the surrounding skin.
For those of you that wear eyeglasses or contacts, you can equip your Oakley’s with prescription lenses. And, they will be protected in the stylish carrying case with soft cloth case for cleaning.

The Oakley are lightweight, no-slip and never fog up. So many of my sunglasses in the past have hurt my head after several hours of wear. These are really comfortable, I hardly notice them on at all. The nice wide frames allow for great vision and look cute for everyday wear. The gripping on the side and nose makes them stay put when leaning down to tie shoes, etc. so I never lose or scratch them.

I would love to win a pair of Oakley Women Urgency Polished Black OO9158-04 Polarised Sunglasses. It would be nice to have a pair of good sunglasses that won’t fog up when I run or they won’t fall off my face when I am running outside. Since this crazy weather we are having here in Chicago I can still go out for a run without snow/ice on the ground and the fresh air is WAY better than running on a treadmill at the gym.
