I am so inspired by the quality of athletes competing and walking around The Games. Thank you FitFluential and GNC for making this happen.
Joe, Heather, Tina, Me, & Scott
Met Michelle Adams, a GNC brand ambassador who ran 3 marathons in 3 weeks including Boston and Big Sur. Legit.
Love her!
Yes, there are paleo eats, bacon jerky booths, & pull-up contests galore around the expo. Lots of equipment and clothing too. Joe is trying out the RPM ropes with some double-unders.
But, mostly, one experiences the feelings of acceptance and respect that the sport of CrossFit brings.
Team Competition
Everywhere I look, there are chiseled physiques, yet there is no judging.
Men’s Track Triplet Heat (Friday)
Sure, you compete against time, your group, but ultimately, you compete to improve.
Fittest Man on Earth
No big deal. Just met the 2011 CrossFit Games Champion Rich Froning.
As I said, I am inspired. I am determined to find the best me. And, I challenge you to find the best YOU!
Dig a little deeper, embrace the pain, savor the journey. Let The Games…continue. It’s not over yet!
Thank you for all your support! You can continue to follow the games through #CrossFitGNC and #2012RCFGames on twitter. (The venue occasionally has poor reception, so thanks for your patience.)

awesome!! have a blast!!
So blessed-Having a blast!
This is so inspiring! I’m looking forward to watching more online. I can imagine it would be much more exciting in real life though! Have fun!!!
Lisa, I am beyond inspired. Seriously, cannot wait to hit up CrossFit Omaha (two of the athletes from my future Box are competing in the games too!)
SO SO inspiring! I have always been drawn to crossfit because of that exact reason – the best you + no judgement. I LOVE IT! Lucky girl – Rich Froning rocks!
It’s seriously the best grit and sportsmanship I have seen to date!
What a fabulous post!!! CrossFit truly is about finding the best you possible!!! Yet another of the many reasons why I love Crossfit! And froning….you are so lucky!!!
I think that’s a really great way to put it…”the best you”. And I love the no judgement atmosphere. In fitness I find most atmospheres are all judgement or no judgement. Hopefully one day we can bridge that gap!
How exciting to be there. My husband and I have been watching online today. I don’t know who is more jealous of your pic with Rich, me or my husband!!
I am so jealous! Rich Froning is awesome and I agree the games have been inspiring.
I’ve been following your blog now for a couple weeks and LOVE it!!! It cracks me up that all of you are “swooning” over Rich Froning though
I went to Tennessee Tech University with him and sat right beside him in Exercise Physiology…lol! Just a good ole’ country boy to be honest. I know it would be so AwEsUm to be there and experience it all in person
ha ha! That’s too funny! I’m sure it’s a little odd if you went to school with him! Seems like an outstanding ambassador for CrossFit! Very personable!
I had to stop cross fit after only 3 weeks when I blew out my shoulder (playing rugby) seeing everything from you all on the blogs and twitter really make me want to go back and try it again.
Thanks for the recap! You made me laugh so hard with the “not washing your left hand every again”. He is a cutie, isn’t he? I wish I could have visited the CFGames. Have been seeing so much about them all over the place.

Great Recap! but a little heavy on the dude crushes.. Where’s Annie, Camille and Lindsay!?? haha
I’ve been around Crossfit since 2010 but was doing the Triathlon thing and now that i’m 8 months in to actually being a part of the community…. I’m Sold.. Strength,Speed,Endurance and flexibility all in one.
Just found your site this week and am following regularly now! I did the arms, and legs workouts this week and my hubbie and I just got done with the playground one! LOVE IT! When will you do some more?
Also, I’ve never tried supplements but we are interested in starting them. Any suggestions for us? He is looking to bulk up and I am looking to be more toned.
I’ve loved all of the tweets and pictures and truly have been so inspired by these athletes. I will admit, I have been super intimidated by crossfit – the intense moves and the crazy buff athletes but I love hearing more and more about the community involved, acceptance and respect. This has definitely inched me closer to trying it out one day soon!
looks like so much fun to be there!!
This is SO motivating to read!! I have been doing crossfit now for about a month and love it. Reading and seeing what these athletes do motivates me to work even harder at tomorrow’s WOD.
Awesome! Extremely motivating!! I am not a crossfit member, but it inspires me to work harder at MY own workouts!
Looks like you had a great time!
A W E S O M E!!!!! I’ve never tried Crossfit but I am totally isnpired to now! I watched some of it this weekend…and was totally looking for your blonde ponytail! LOL!! So glad you had an amazing time!!
