We even did a lap on the warning track of TD Ameritrade stadium. I was in baseball-running heaven!
We finished along the Missouri river this year. Last year’s flood prevented this.
It was a smallish race which is why I placed–that or everyone in my age group is pregnant or hungover. The night before, we spent time in Omaha’s Old Market downtown.
We met up with some of my favorites at Rock Bottom Brewery.
I had the chicken lettuce wraps (app) which evidently worked well as a pre-race meal. And, I drank ProSculpt and about 16 oz. of nuun prior to the race and which kept me hydrated and energized for the 3.1 miles!
