I reorganized my WORKOUTS and RUNNING pages!
Now, you can more easily find what you are searching for whether it’s a core specific workout or an interval treadmill workout.

I would love your feedback/thoughts. Is that easier to navigate? What would you like to see more of?
For Fitness Friday, I am going back to the basics with an at-home workout.
This workout will take around 10 minutes or so.
You can roll out of bed and jump-start your metabolism, hitting everything. [Coach came up with a fun video intro...hope you like it!]
- Prisoner Squats
- Shoulder-Tap Push-ups
- Suitcase Crunches
- Mountain Climbers
Whether you are just beginning to exercise or want to incorporate strength training into your marathon training, these basic moves are easy to add to your arsenal.
Strength training is vital to your fitness goals, injury prevention and lean body composition. So, make time for it and reap the rewards.
I also mention Meta-Ignite, a thermogenic aid I take 30-60 minutes before a workout/run to increase calorie-burning & support intense exercise.
- Features a Tri-Pepper Blend Shown to Triple Pre-Exercise Calorie Burning
- Ignite Three Phase Calorie Burning Before, During and After Exercise
- Fuels Metabolism as You Push to Blaze Through Performance Barriers

What basic strength moves do you do on a regular basis?
What are your (extended) weekend plans?!

Just relaxing and hanging around the house this weekend. Thanks for the workout:) I need to start doing more vlogging. Do you video yourself or do you have someone do it for you? Have a great weekend:)
Right now, my husband has to video me as we only have a flip camera! ;/ Need to invest in a video camera with a stand!
You are looking so strong! I’m pretty intrigued over the pro sculpt, it looks like the three things together are really working for you as well as all your strength moves. I don’t have typical go-to strength moves but I really like to work my arms/chest/shoulders on rest days from running.
My Memorial Day weekend plans include a run, an airshow at the Air Force Base and probably a little grocery shopping and of course church and relaxing. Hope you have a nice Memorial Day weekend!
Thank you Julie! Yes, the combo of GenetixHD, running and HIIT are difference makers for me! Hope you have a fab weekend!
Look at your f*cking arm! wow! Does the other one look like that, too?
I am going to start doing all of your posted workouts because my core and the rest of my body could really use the direction.
ha ha! Love you! I hope you try them–let me know if you have questions. Strong core = strong runner!
Love this. Have been following you on FB and your blog for a while but am only just getting started on real strength work myself. I’m also starting my PT business and use some of your videos to inspire my workouts. Great stuff and I like the reorganisation! I aspire to have your arms!
Thanks Petra! My arms have been a work in progress–my legs were always my favorite body part to work, but I’m more confident now with core and upper body work! I will be shooting more videos for you to use!
I am new to your blog and love all of the workouts and info that you post! Thanks!
I almost always include push ups on the boss ball and I love dumbbell rows while balancing on one leg! My weekend is going to be full of running – and spectating running – one of my best friends is running her first 10K!

Thank you Kayla! That makes my day! Good luck to you and your friend this weekend!
Great video. I can’t imagine rolling out of bed and doing that, maybe if I did it right next to the coffee pot for motivation
Maybe after some coffee (IV tap included) ha ha!
Thanks so much for these workout ideas. I have been incorporating them with my distance running for about 3 weeks, and I have noticed a huge difference. I like the way that I feel stronger and I am faster (just a little).
I do believe they help make me a stronger runner…and glad they help you too!
oooh shoulder tap pushups! trying those!!
You will love them. CORE work maxed!
Love that workout! Quick and effective–just the kind of thing I need. Thanks for sharing.
Have a great Memorial Day weekend!
You bet! during high mileage training plans it’s tough to squeeze in lots of strength training. So quick and easy fits the bill!
Im going to print the picture of your arm and put on my wall to keep me inspired. I want those arms!!! Awesome

Look at those guns! I will have to check out those products. I am having about 60 people over for my daughter’s graduation party. After that, nothing!
I’d rather jump on my mtn. bike for a quick 20 before work…
miles-not min.
Love those suitcase crunches!
This looks like a great work out! I can’t wait to try it. I have been following your blog for a while now, but not sure if I’ve ever commented before. I’d love to have some muscles like you some day
I’m awful about strength training, but you’ve definitely inspired me to get on the ball and add some of these work outs to my weekly runs.
