With a busy schedule, I rely on quality products that are nutritionally dense AND convenient. Enter the company that covers it all: GNC.
I began shopping at GNC shortly after I graduated college. I still wanted to keep my active, healthy lifestyle as a student-athlete now that I didn’t have access to a training table and daily scheduled practices.

First thing in the morning, I grab a Women’s Ultra Mega Active Vitapak for the day (and store a couple extras in my purse). All of my essential supplements are here. No excuses.

For morning training runs and workouts, I have been using the new 6 hour energy shot Street King created by 50 Cent. I keep them in the refrigerator for a cool blast of energy in the morning; the orange-mango flavor is delicious and goes down easy compared to the 5-hour energy shots I’ve tried in the past.
“This shot will bring you greater focus and energy. I believe if you improve your energy, you gain the power to change bigger things. For every shot you purchase, we provide a meal for a child in need through the United Nations World Food Program. That’s positive energy.” -50 Cent
I have been adding chia seed to pretty much everything! Salads, oatmeal, smoothies, soup. This is a SUPERfood loaded with dietary fiber and omega-3. Not only has my digestion improved, but a noticeable increase in my energy level is evident. Plus, it feels good to eat clean.
If you’ve read Born to Run, you know the power of chia.
There’s no denying my sweet tooth and during the holidays, I battle with it constantly. That’s why I was stoked to try GNC’s Total Lean Shake in Swiss Chocolate.
I created my own Candy Cane shake using a scoop of the Total Lean Protein, water, ice, a couple drops of peppermint extract and crushed candy canes.
This shake was rich and satisfying, and it felt so much better to drink this than ordering a DQ Blizzard! My waistline thanked me as well.
I can only speak for myself when reviewing GNC’s quality products and customer service.
They have a plethora of products available online and in-stores to help you reach any fitness goal. I strongly encourage you to find the products that will help you reach your goals at a local GNC!
